The COICA is our instance of coordination of the nine national amazon indigenous organizations:

It was founded in 1984 in Lima, Peru, city where our headquarters worked up to 1992. From 1993, this is in a permanent way in Quito, Ecuador where COICA is legal and legally recognized by the Ecuadorian state.
