Puerto Cavinas Beni Bolivia
General Coordinator COICA´s General Cordinator , participated in the official delivery o f EXECUTORY TITLE of the TCOs Cavineña located in Ballivián Province of the Department of the Beni (Bolivia) during May 19 th and 20 th .in date In the April 2007, the President of Bolivia Mr. Evo Morales donated the Executorial TITLE of the Cavineño Town in the city of Riberalta . The donation was made Regional Organization CIRABO, one of the member Organizations of the CIDOB, located in the Amazonian North of Bolivia the TCOs was demanded in 1996 after the reform of Law INRA done by the Confederation of Indigenous Towns of Bolivia CIDOB.
Organizacion Indigena Cavineña de la Amazonía OICA, which is the biggest Organization that represents more than 3,800 inhabitants with of 28 communities with an extension of 468,117. Nowadays is recognized by the Government.
CIRABO, Organization that represent 5 Indigenous Towns in the North Region was in charge to make the official delivery to the Cavineño town where participated b more than 400 people from all the communities involved .
Is important to point out that the TCOs is recognized like Indigenous Municipal District of the same Town. COICA´S General Coordinator, was one of the first leaders who promoted the demand of the territory in Benefit of his Nation, in recognition of his work the communities granted a CERTIFICATE for the hard working process of 11 years to obtain the legal recognition of the land in benefit of all the families.
