Workshop about the Regional Program "Commitment of the Indigenous Organizations in Latin America "
The workshop pretends to consolidate the capabilities of the Indigenous Organizations with National and Regional Interchanges concerning to the great efforts that have been made in defence of the Rights of the Indigenous Nations in every Latin American country.
The Ministry of Economical Cooperation and Development (BMZ) of the Government of the Republic of Germany , in Latin America and the Caribbean , with its programs supports the Indigenous organizations and the implementation of the rights in the constitutions of the Latin American countries in its function of international representative on the demands of the indigenous movement.
In the event also participated Natives leaders from; Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Guatemala, Regional Organizations like COICA with the General Coordinator, the CAOI, in representation of the Andean Organizations, CICA participated as well representing Central America.
As a result, plans of each one of the countries and Organizations lead to a positive process, everything related to the structural changes within the State and the participation of the Indigenous women in all the spheres
