CAMPING LIBRE EARTH APRIL 16 TH TO APRIL 19 TH BRASILIA

The Coordination of the Indigenous Organizations of Brazilian Amazonía COIAB . Led by its General Coordinator Mr. Jecinaldo Barbosa assisted to Campamento Tierra Libre in the IV year of declaration of the rights of the indigenous Nations made in Brasilia .
To the meeting assisted more than o1,000 native leaders, from 98 towns from different regions of Brazil . They presented/displayed different development proposals to the different State Dignities, Ministries, Deputies, Senators, the event was made in the facilities of the National Senate.
On April 19 th the meeting was supervised by the Brazilian President Dr.Luis Ignacio Lula Da Silva.
The president heard the petitions of a hundred of indigenous leaders from all the National Brazilian territory. 
The leaders and their people demanded the solution to the National Government, the topics were:
• Violence against the indigenous settlements (murder in indigenous territories)
• Demarcation, protection and sustainable Management in Indigenous territory
• Health Interest
• Indigenous Education
The president promised that his Government will respect and will implement the necessary policies to respect the right of the Native Brazilian Population. The President also demand to the Ministers to give all the attention and solutions to the pleads that were made. The General Coordinator of the COICA, who assisted to the meeting was there to support all the proposals presented by the indigenous movement of Brazil and in representation of all the Indigenous population of the Amazonian River basin.
