CIDOB, Confederation of Indigenous people of Bolivia, national representative of the indigenous movement of Bolivia, was founded formally in October of 1982, in Santa Cruz of the Sierra, with the participation of representatives of four Indigenous people of the Bolivian East: Guarani-izoceños, Chiquitanos, Ayoreos and Guarayos.
The representativeness of CIDOB like organization that it contains to the Indigenous people of the Low Lands of Bolivia are recognized unquestionably in the official, international means and in the popular movement.
