XXI ORDINARY MEETING Of the DIRECTIVE ADVICE OF COICA
 First meeting of the Directive Council in July 2005 ( COICA´s headquarters).
14 th to July 15 th 2005 , Quito
the Coordinator of the Indigenous Organizations of Amazonian River basin - COICA, represented by its dignities chosen in VII t General Congress, which took place on June 27th to July 1st 2005 in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.
The meeting was held in the hall called Sombra GrandeGreat in CIDOB´s headquarters for the mandate 2005 to the 2009, and the salient General Coordinator, present in the city of Quito , Ecuador in the period of July 14th and 15th 2005, in respect to the "agreement of consolidation of the indigenous towns of the COICA ".
Signed on 08/07/05 in the city of Quito , by the elected Vice coordinators elected in French Guyana and Bolivia .
Considering:
That, the word and the conversation are our ancestral ways of communication to solve of since immemorial times, and were in that spirit and determination that we decided to have to accomplish the meetings during July 14th and 15th 2005 were in both July, date decided for the accomplishment of a meeting, between both Chosen Directive Advice in the Congresses of Bolivia and French Guyana, for the consolidation of the COICA.
After the 2 days established by both parts, the indigenous brothers of the elected directive chosen of French Guyana did not go to the call of unity without a justification.
Due to that disrespectful attitude of to the agreement signed by the parts, according to literal ' 2', we considered finished the conciliation route and we have taken the following decisions:
1. To formally assume like elected Directive Council VII the General Congress of the COICA, made in Santa Cruz de la Sierra Bolivia , in the hall Salon Sombra Grande at CIBOB for 2005-2009.
2. To solicit GTZ the keys of the COICA facilities and to thank for its disposition in the search of a successful outcome between the parts involved in the agreement on July 8th 2005 .
3. To notify to all the authorities and to the national and international institutions of these decisions, taken by the Directive Council chosen in VII the General Congress of the COICA, made in Santa Cruz de la Sierra , Bolivia , from June 27th to July 1st 2005 .
