RESOLUTIONS OF THE XVII COICA´S ADVICE MEETING COUNCIL (CCC) and XXIII COICA´S DIRECTIVE COUNCIL (CDC)
In conformity to the 25 th article literal e) of the statute in use and by superior mandate of the congress and in use of their legitimate legal attributions the CDC summons to the meeting of XVII the advice of coordination of COICA and XXII of the directive advice of COICA On June 14th to June 16th 2006 , in the city of Bogotá, Colombia
As well as the consolidation and union of the member organizations of the region to observe the right mentioned before
 To the present meeting Coordination and Directive Advice of COICA will participate the following members of the Council: Second Alberto Pizango Chota, President of Association Interétnica de Desarrollo of Peruvian Forest "ADESEP" Peru; Dionisio Gutiérrez, representative of the Confederation of indigenous Towns of Bolivia "CIDOB" Solivia;; Jose Francisco Aviles Huatatoca, President of. Confederation of the Indigenous Nationalities of Ecuadorian Amazonía "CONFENIAE" Ecuador Ramiro Macanilla, President of the Organizations of the indigenous Towns of Colombian Amazonía "OPIAC" Colombia; Javier Sanchez, Coordinating Vice of the Regional Organization of the Indigenous Towns of Amazon "ORPIA" Venezuela, and Josien Aloema Tokoe, representative of Organisatie van Inheemsen in Suríname (OtS); and members of CDC: Egberto Tabo Chipunavi. General Coordinator; Rosa Alvarado Tanguila , Vice-Coordinator; Diego Iván Escobar , Environmental Biodiversity Territorial Coordinator and Biodiversidad and Haroldo Andrés Salazar Rossi , Education and Culture Coordinator.
Could not attend to the meeting Mr. Jacinaldo Barbosa Cabral , who represents the Socialcultural, Educative Human Right of Coordenacaô das Organizacôes Indígenas da Amazonía Brasil .
Although he sent a notification supporting all decisions made and taken at the meeting.
CCD & CDC had agreed on:
1. - The CCC ratify the legitimacy of COICA´S Directive Council ( its Vile) General Congress, made in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia on June 28 th /30 th and on July 1 st 2005.
Also, it recognizes the registry of Venezuela appointment granted by the Ministry of the Social welfare of Ecuador with the N"00107-al-pj-mtb-2006, in Quito-Ecuador.
2. - The CCC reinforces the reciprocal unity of its members and appeals the incorporation and participation of absent organizations, to continue the effort in the institutions and our collective rights.
3.-The Coordination Council, approves the operation document presented by the CDC, in its political aspects, administrative and technical.
Also authorizes the CDC increased presence and work , according to its needs and the other organizations members. The extension of its functions according to its necessities functions that will be adopted formally, registering in the public registry of the modified statutes.
4. - The CCC approves to promote the programs and projects that were successful in the Amazon river basin.
5. - The CCC ratifies the agreements adopted in its previous meetings regarding the total transference of the Trust Fund to COICA and legitimates the CDC to manage this agreement.
Also, it decides to ask for it immediate transference the generated interests of the years 2004 and 2005 of the same Fund ; and capitalizing the interests generated in the 2006.
6. - The CCC agrees on the direct participation of the General Coordinator or its delegate in the cooperation meetings, that have to deal about the cooperation with indigenous towns. And we do not recognize other representations credited by the COICA and their decisions are not correlated for our organization.
7. - The Private Organizations Cooperations and others, respect the decisions taken by the instances of the COICA, also we plead to the cooperation the incorporation of AIA in their financing policies and its strategic plans of our organization members.
8. - The renewal of the different programs and projects financed by the cooperators with the COICA and their organizations members, within the framework of the agreements already established.
9. - ET CCC approves the designation of the representatives of the COICA, before the different instances it is competition of the Council Directive and ratified by Advice of Coordination.
Regarding to La Alianza Amazonica, the CCC, decide to assume the coodirection designating a new representative of the COICA, and authorize to the CDC select and designate to its own representative.
10. - The CCC authorize to the CDC to resume the tripartite dialogues about Colombia hydrocarbons, World Bank, State and Indigenous Nations .
Also the COICA urges to the international organizations their total participation.
11. - The CCC insists to the CDC to work in the joint of AIA along with the strategic plans of the organizations members of the COICA.
12. - All activity of institutional fortification and other that organize cooperators and CDC have to be made through the legitimate members to the COICA.
13.- Finally CCC and CDC invites to all the allied Cooperations and NGOS to work together with COICA in the strength and Organization and the defence of our rights .
