Annual Prize Kuamote

The Annual Prize KUAMOTE was instituted as an institutional recognition for the people, lead and leaders that it has demonstrated value, work and fights in the defense of our rights. This homage was established by the Council of Coordination of the COICA.

Kuamote, the Architect of the whole creation personifies, in our cosmovisión, represented by the People Kura-bakairi and Bora. It es compose by following the Mother's Nature elements: The hand that carries the lance, receives the power to take care of all that belongs to the Mother Nature. The tree is the Kamalampi, (Ayahuasca) that allows to consent to the spiritual world and to follow its destination; The white Garza, is the Mother's Nature direct messenger that comes from the sky to leave good or bad news.

The Manguaré, is the communication instrument used to send messages in the forest. The foot, represents the existence. The river and the water are the source of life; The siren, invokes the protection, as guardian mother of lakes, rivers and of us so that we can continue living; The green forest, a Natural Queen that others imitate, but they cannot equal it; The shade taking of the mouth a pipe, it represents the wisdom that moves sky, air, it dilutes and earth; The Picaflor, is the beauty that transports the fire in its pick; The white Ángel, protects his children and it trusts in that never fall in errors; The radiant Sun, is the existence that he/she goes he/she is born once again to the following day; The Arch-iris, announces the peace, tranquility and continuation of the cultivations for the crop; The Moon, announces life and it lights the Earth; The maloca represents the union and the happiness. Man and woman, they symbolize the belief in our sacred spirituality. The Swallows, messengers and protectors, as well as them we protect ourselves mutually, committed in building a healthy, free and sure future, with our work, with trust, to triumph exercising the wisdom, even in dead places.
